You guys know homemade bubble tea is one of my favorite things to make, and this time I had to try out the ever popular brown sugar! Did anyone else know that most brown sugar boba teas don’t actually have any tea in them??? This recipe is super delicious and easy to make at home, and perfect for when you’ve got a boba craving! What’s your favorite bubble tea flavor?
Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea
Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked tapioca pearls
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups water
- 4 cups milk of choice
Instructions
- Add the water to a medium pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the boba pearls and let boil for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- After 10 minutes, add the brown sugar and stir until dissolved and boiling. Allow to boil for another 5 minutes.
- Divide the pearls and brown sugar syrup evenly between 4 glasses. Tilt the glasses on their side, and without letting any of the pearls fall out, slowly roll the glasses to coat the inside of the glass with the brown sugar syrup. Add your milk of choice, along with optional ice and black tea.
- Enjoy!
