Ingredients

  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 large lime, cut into 4 wedges
  • 1 1/2 oz white rum (dark works too, if that's your preference!)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar Adjust this as desired, this will make a pretty sweet mojito
  • 1/2 cup club soda or seltzer water

Instructions

  • Add the mint leaves and one lime wedge to a highball glass. Muddle well, making sure the mint oils have been released and the lime wedge has released a lot of juice. Add the sugar and 2 more lime wedges, and again muddle well.
  • Add ice to the glass, filling it most of the way to the top. Add the rum over top, and then fill the rest of the glass with club soda. Stir well to combine, and garnish with the last lime wedge and some mint.
  • Enjoy!
