Watermelon Lime Popsicles

Summer is in FULL swing and popsicles are THE homemade treat to beat! I’m a huge sucker for ice cream and popsicles in the summer (let’s be real, at any point in the year) but the store-bought brands can come with a lot more sugar than you might expect. You can control the sugar content and choose whatever flavors you want by using your own popsicle molds! This time I went with a classic summer combo – watermelon and lime – and they’re so refreshing and full of that childhood nostalgia. What kind of flavors should I pick next?

Equipment

  • popsicle mold

Ingredients

  • 40 oz fresh watermelon (roughly half a large watermelon)
  • 2 limes

Instructions

  • In a large blender, add all the watermelon and the juice and zest of two limes. Blend until smooth, and carefully pour into popsicle molds. (At this point, I recommend following the specific instructions that come with whatever popsicle mold you use). Freeze until solid, at least 5 hours.
  • Enjoy!
